Fees and Insurance

Payment is either via self-pay or through in-network or out-of network insurance. Forms of payment accepted are credit/debit card or HSA/FSA card. No cash, cash apps, or checks accepted.

Insurance:

Insurance is accepted for individual therapy only. Groups are self-pay (please see below).

Out-of-network:

I can provide super-bills (an insurance accepted receipt) if I do not accept your insurance, and you would like to try to be reimbursed by your insurance company at out-of-network rates. As each insurance is different and not all accept super-bills, you are encouraged to contact your insurance provider to check your benefits prior to our first session. Please see FAQ page for further information on super-bills.

Self pay:

Individual sessions:

If you do not have insurance, or prefer not to use your existing insurance (see FAQ page for reasons why someone may not want to use their insurance), there are self-pay options.

Each self-pay session is $150 for approximately 50 minutes. If the session needs to be shortened for emergencies/illness/appointment conflict etc., rates will be adjusted. Full fee information will be sent with your onboarding paperwork.

Group sessions:

Group sessions require a financial commitment of the full duration of the group (with the exception of the Overeating, Emotional Eating, and Binge eating support group). The cost is between $40-$60 per session depending on the group, which runs typically 60-90 minutes per week for 8 -10 weeks. Please note I am not able to charge insurance for these groups as they often do not meet the parameters that insurance requires (ie: a working diagnosis, etc..)

For the Overeating, Emotional Eating, and Binge eating support group (not educational group) the cost is $40 per session and will be billed in one month blocks. You will be asked to pay at the beginning of each month for that months sessions (4 in total).
